Mechanical processing requires high speed and high accuracy stable machine tools .With its high damping properties, polymer concrete and natural stone have become the preferred materials for producing high quality milling, cutting, turning and grinding machines. Using these materials can reduce noise and tool wear while increasing its rigidity and natural frequency.


The development of new high technology and nano-binder, together with the use of self-compacting, solvent-free and cementing concrete, greatly simplifies the manufacturing process of machine parts. Durcrete uses Dyckerhoff's NANODUR binder to produce machine tools with ultra-high performance concrete.



Production


Ultra-high performance concrete needs to mix aggregate, special cement and water, and then fill the concave mold of professional equipment. According to different requirements, the mold can be made of wood, plastic or iron. Threaded sleeves, steel bars, pipes, conduits, anchors, compressed air pipes and so on will be embedded in the machine frame.


The solvent-free mixture will naturally harden under external conditions. A day later, the components were removed from the mold and coated with special treatment. Cementitious concrete can keep its size stable even at high temperature. It will not burn and can be recycled as construction waste.



Precision


The verticality, flatness and parallelism can be directly up to 0.1 mm through mould. The precision can be up to 0.005 mm when grinding the concrete surface and milling or drilling the embedded steel plate. Especially in the production of a series of components, with the help of instruments and epoxy resin production of precision surface castings can greatly reduce production costs.


Ultra high performance concrete has high thermal capacity and has a thermal expansion coefficient similar to iron. Therefore, its thermal impact on the machine bed will be weakened. This enables the super high performance concrete components to be cemented with epoxy resin.


It has strong corrosion resistance to liquids such as cutting fluid and coolant. Forming ability and integration ability are very strong, saving space, realizing the simple and beautiful appearance of machine tool's overall appearance. High precision castings, can achieve part of the precision surface casting, without cutting, can shorten the machine tool delivery time.
Heat conduction is 1/20 of cast iron, specific heat capacity is 2.1 times of cast iron, excellent thermal stability and thermal inertia, effectively inhibitingmachine deformation caused by temperature changes, ensure the accuracy of machine tool processing stability. The temperature change rate of cast iron is 22 times higher than that of mineral castings.
No shrinkage, no water absorption, no expansion and long-term accuracy retention during solidification.
